It's a Summer Morning

It's a wednesday summer morning. . .
And when you look like this. . .
Sporting the long, greasy wave hair look, with sweat-shorts, and a "Forget  Princess, I want to be a Vampire" shirt from the original Forks Washington. Ya you wish you were as cool as me.

You don't want to show your face in public at all.
Last night my Mom did me and Jess's Toenails
red white and blue, for patriotic reasons.
While i was the guinea pig, jess's toenails
were done flawless. its okay mom i like them,
(in case she reads this)
We started the movie "The Man From Snowy River"
around 9:45pm, finished around  11:10pm
I'm tired end of story.
Can't wait for the weekend (: ohhh
and my favorite show tonight.
SYTYCD!

Mornings like this. . . you just blog stalk.
So stalk her. she's pretty sweet.

Have a blessed day (:

Words cannot explain

If you've ever lived in Utah, you would understand this post.
Last Saturday night i made me and my family made our way over to Cafe Rio. No it's not cafe. Its a mexican grill. mmmhmm. okay so you walk in and go through the line, pick what you want from the menu. For instance. if you wanted the salad(which is amazing) you would say "Can i get the Sweet Pork Salad?" By the way the Sweet Pork is the best meat there. Okay so after they get that, here comes the tricky part. You have to speak up or else you won't get what you want. I personally like ask for the Shredded lettuce, for 1. its easier to shove in your mouth rather than a huge thing of lettuce. after the lettuce thing is over, here comes the 'Everything else' you got, guacamole, pico(salsa), lime, chippies, cilantro, and parmesan. It goes fast, so you better speak up if you don't like something. But i like everything, so....moving on. Then they ask which dressing you'd like, there a few to choose from. The House Ranch(sooooooooo goood) Vinaigrette (so so okay) and other dressings i've never got because i like the ranch so much. okay so i get the ranch, like every time. Then you are through the line, and paying for your soon delicious meal.
You sit down with an glorious mouth-watering salad. Stomach growling and you're just dying to dig into it.    Then you realize utensils are needed, so you head over to the counter where they provide them. Ohh better grab some napkins also, this could get messy.
You sit back down to your glorious mouth-watering salad you are about to take a bit out of. You hurry and scramble for your fork. But wait. Where's the dressing? You pull off the lid from your dressing cup, get a little on your finger, that's okay, just lick it off. You pour half of it onto your salad. KEEP THE REST! do a little toss with your salad, you want to get everything mixed together. You go in for that first bite of lettuce a little but of meat, with dressing on it, and some chippies, and you chew, chew, chew. swallow and     think of what the next bite's going to be like.
So now you're halfway done, you see the tortilla at the bottom of the pan. Remember you leftover dressing? yes best part by far, right here. You rip off a part of that tortilla, and dunk it into that delicious dressing. ahhhhhhhhh goodness.
When you're finally pushing it to the end, can't fit the last couple bites in your mouth but you have too, cause you don't want to waste it. You push those bites down, then your just stuffed, made have to undo the jeans or something? i don't know, but you just enjoyed a delectable salad from Cafe Rio.

I just believe i made your stomach growl, and made you're grabbing for the keys because you have to go get a salad now. I wouldn't blame you.
But go ahead why not, those salads are only like a million calories! haha a little exaggeration.

My glorious salad on Saturday night.
Me and my niece Ella enjoying some good Cafe Rio.

good to be back.

Yes my sister's been a slacker and didn't update our blog while i was away at girly's camp. haha. Well, it was GREAT. I love going to camp. Sad this one might be my last : ( going to be a SENIOR though. Girls Camp theme was Black and White, "We clearly see between wrong and right." We planned around the colors black white and pink. Each tent and YCL was given a Black and White animal as their mascot. I was the Panda Bears, others consisted of white tigers, white horses, zebras, dalmatians, penguins, and cows. We had a lot of activities that taught us how to live black and white. Making sure we understand how to live black and white. Because life's black and white, there are no grey areas, there is only wrong and right. I loved every minute of it. But i'm also glad to be home in my comfy bed. ( : okay, so my plans for the weekend. . . simply clean out the old pool, watch some fireworks, then maybe eat some good food, and i don't know, live up summer. yup sounds like a tremendous plan!
 On the wonderful hike

me and my girl ashley's awesome staches'

 I just love these girls.
 well till next year. . . ladies. . .

Live black and white. Know between right and wrong.
The End.

The Classics

You know those movies where you quote them like no tomorrow? yes! well you see, i call those 'The Classics.' They're the movies you can watch over and over and over again without getting a bit sick of them. They can be sappy romantic movies, action packed nail bitting movies, killer in the shower horror movies, or laughing on the floor comedies.
Whatever you like to watch, its you. They might be the movies you watch when you're sad or
depressed or the movies you watch when you're bored or have nothing better to do.
They express who you are as an individual.
few of my many favorites(and there are a lot more then this) are listed below.

The Goonies

 The Sandlot

That Thing You Do
Newsies

If you haven't seen any of these oldies, i recommend you pick them up at blockbuster.
it's just something to do a boring summer day. So treat yourself to some good
movies, spend a little time, search for some old VHS's, dig out the Classics that you love to
watch.

Hair

Hair, Hair, Hair! Wether it's short and spicy or long and luscious, its our hair that keeps us up to date and fashionable. Hairstyles change, new hair color options come out, and we keep on damaging our precious hairs to look like everyone else. That's why i say go with your natural! It's YOUR hair. No one else has the same hair as YOU! style how YOU like it. Cut how YOU like it. Don't do what the magazines tell you to do. For example, The middle part came back. I tried it. didn't like it. End of story. But it's my hair, no one is going to force me to do what everyone else is doing. And i repeat: GO WITH YOUR NATURAL! wait lets clarify this. Your Natural Hair(in my definition): is when you do not use a blow dryer, curling iron, or straightener!!! i did not say you couldn't use a brush or a comb or a de-tangler. When i say this i mean let your roots grow out, don't get a hair cut every 6 weeks, let your hair be free and beautiful. It's the way to go. especially in the summer. Here are a few hair pictures that i love.
simply braids

awesome long braids

 bows

 long thick ponytails

 itsy bitsy braids
 long waves
 long curls
  crazy braids
and more beautiful hair.

And as you can tell from this post. I'm waiting patiently for my locks of hair to grow out.
If you have hair past your shoulders, consider yourself lucky. For i am deeply jealous.

yesterday

Yesterday was a fabulous day!
Here's a couple of funny things that were said yesterday,

Guy riding roller blades without a shirt on, with slick back hair.
Jess: "Mia we should get roller blades."
Mia: "So we can look like him? What is this the 80's?" (He really did look like he was from the 80's)
Jess: "All he needs is a walkman!" HAHAHAHA.

That was the morning. Then.

Shopping in American Eagle. Looking through the clearance racks.
Mia: "Hey Jess do you like this shirt?" (Holds up baggy kinda stretched out shirt)
Jess: "No i don't like those kind of shirts."
Mia puts shirt back.
couple minutes later. . .
Jess: "Hey Mia, do you like this shirt?" (Holds up baggy kinda stretched out shirt)
Mia: "Hmmm, no i don't really like those kinds of shirts." (in sarcastic mean voice)
Jess: "Ohh sorry."
Another couple minutes pass.
Jess: "Do you like this Mia?" (Holds up grey shirt)
Mia: "Yeah it's cute, i like grey."
Jess: "Yeah I don't really like grey."
Mia: "Jess your wearing grey!!!"
Jess: "Oh, shut up!"
HAHAHA!

So in other news. . . I (Mia) bought a long dress from Target! Ahh i love it so much. Best $20 i spent on a piece of clothing. jk! but serious its cute. pictures to come later when i wear it. ( :
Picture taken on jess's phone in Target.
ahhh, i love summer. . .

Tell me about any of your shopping experiences?

My Sister's Beauty Secrets

Okay we've decided to spill some of our beauty secrets. Its nothing big or fancy, plain and simple this is what we do. You may have heard of some of them before but we've cracked down on some serious beauty issues. If they work for us, they might as well work for you.

Blemishes: don't you hate those nasty things? sorry but the word zit, gives me the hebbie jebbies. any who, our basic cure for blemishes are 1. take a dot of lemon juice and aspirin. Crush aspirin between two spoons until it becomes a paste. Simply put the paste on your blemish. We usually do this technique overnight just after washing our face. Do whatever fits your schedule. That was the cheap and organic version of it, if you want to just be safe, go to your local Target or Walmart and pick up some Clearasil Vanishing Acne Treatment Cream. its a life saver at times and if you don't want to do all the work with the aspirin then this is your guy. its kind of expensive but it last you a while because you only use a dot of it here and there.

we usually used one aspirin
Make it to a paste of some sort

Baby Hairs: they're the hairs on your forehead that no body loves. They just sit on your forehead while you try and comb them up and spray them down. So our secret beauty tip for those suckers is a simple toothbrush. it really works i attest to it. just grab an gently used or new toothbrush, brush up those little hairs and spray them. works ten times better then a comb.

Face: our favorite face wash and face lotion goes to the Cetaphil brand. You can get it at Walmart or Target. it is a little pricy but if you want a clear face this is your gal. It's made our faces ten times better since we've started using it. And we've never changed since. Of course you get the occasional blemishes, but it makes your face feel like it can breathe not so dry either. The Cetaphil face lotion is great too. i recommend using both items.

Teeth: we occasionally use baking soda on our teeth. Yes we know it sounds weird, but if you want that white tint and cleaner feeling brush with without using harsh chemicals, like whitening strips. A little baking soda once in a while is good. Not every day of course that probably wouldn't be to healthy but occasionally is good.

Skin: do you ever want that natural glow to your skin? well we use a simple off-brand (there is a Jergens brand, but it's a little out of our price budget) but the off-brand is just as good. it's Equate Healthy Glow. It's basically a regular lotion that moisturizes your skin while giving you a healthy tan-ish glow to your arms and legs. You can purchase it Walmart or Target.

Sha-BAM!!!!! There you have it. Our basic beauty tips. We hope you try them out. And tell us if you've had problems or if you have any questions.
and. . . Coming Soon. . .To a blog near you. . . My Sister's Hair
