Not sure if its the zombies or the exotic actors...

I'm hooked. I don't know what it is. I love it. Although I could do with less of the really nasty nasty nasty gore. It's plain and yet very simple. I'm addicted to The Walking Dead. If that sounds foreign to you. Then check out amctv.com and read up on your zombies. 

I don't know why... its probably because Tanner got me hooked on the flesh eating beasts. Its defiantly not a show to watch if you throw up at the sight of blood. Other than that side affect its a pretty good show. Every Sunday night at 10pm. It's pretty high up on my list of favorite shows next to America's Next Top Model and The Office. 

And how could you not watch an attractive man like this act? 

You can kill zombies for me anytime Rick ;)

ahhhhh if only the world would end like this... then me and Tanner would absolutely be prepared.

Imagine Dragons & Cheesecake

Last weekend I was spoiled by my boy Tanner :) We went to the Big A** Show in SLC to watch the newest Imagine Dragons perform some songs. It was so fun and I loved every minute being with Tanner. He's pretty great and comes up often and I love it! I'm going to be completely honest, i'm not the happiest person to be around when i'm hungry. I get moody, easily irritated and just frustrated. Tanner saw this twice during the weekend. The first time I was really mad at him, because I was hungry and he just laughed at me because he said I was funny when I get mad. So he kept putting off getting me something to eat only for his entertainment. Then I got really mad at him, then he stopped and made me something to eat. The second time was when we were at the concert... we were waiting to find his friends Jake & Brittni, but they were taking a while and I had a massive headache from druggies smoking their stuff and alcohol over the place. It stunk and I was getting really hungry and I just kept putting my head on his chest to try and block out everything around me so my headache would go away. But he could tell I wasn't happy. Soon after a few minutes of my pouting we left go to City Creek where Cheesecake Factory was. He ate Pasta, I ate Orange Chicken. It was delicious. We shared a carmel cheesecake afterwards.... Then I promised him we'd only go into two stores in City Creek and he was okay with it. I bought a few things and then we went back to his house. And Skinny Jeggings are very uncomfortable to wear after not wearing them for a whole entire summer season. Gotta get used to wearing jeans again :/ ughh! We watched the movie Taken since i'd never seen it. It was a good weekend all in all :)

And of course we had to buy Imagine Dragons t-shirts.

And if you're thinking "Wow they look abnormally tan for a September wedding" well yes me and jess and the bride and another one of our sisters all got spray tans two days before. Mine took the darkest since my skin is already olive-skin color. Anyway i'd recommend getting a spray tan, only for special occasions such as a wedding :)

I'm now the employee that must wash their hands before returning to work

And it feels rather odd to have a job again... I snagged a job at Cafe Zupas. We serve up soups, salads, sandwiches and chocolate covered strawberries mon-sat from 11am to 9pm. Its going to be a glorious job i hope. 

I get to memorize 12 salads.

I get to memorize 8 soups.

I get to memorize 12 sandwiches.

Yay! It's like being back in school again....

The new Nicholas Sparks novel

One day a while ago my friend Marissa and I were chatting... and I was kinda rambling on about me and Tanner and when I was done I just kind of sat there and so did she... Then she simply said... "Ya know what?! I think you guys can sell your love story and relationship to Nicholas Sparks and make millions... Cause what you just told me sounds just like his novels." I just laughed... It was the most random thing ever. But I seriously couldn't get over it. It was so funny. So later I tell Tanner, and he just got a kick out of it. It was quite an eventful evening with that Marissa.
It's been a little over a month since we've made us official and out of the four saturdays since he's been gone, he's come up all but 1 weekend. He seriously does so much for me. I've never had a boyfriend before, but I'm seriously so glad and blessed that this is my very first. He is literally the best. We may be living off the young romantic crazy love we have... but it sure is nice to have someone thats always there for you.
Today I just realized that some things are better left unsaid. You really don't know what damage you can do to something until its done. Don't lose a precious gem once you got it.
I truly hope our Nicholas Sparks novel continues... cause three days out of the seven days a week isn't enough with this boy.

9 things on the 9th

Jess and I are jammed packed with things to do here and there for my sister's wedding in two weeks!!! Oh yes. Only two weeks away! Crazy I know. But to give you a little snippet of our weekend and things that i'm utterly stoked about here are 9 random and silly happenings on the 9th of September.

1. Creepers in the Singles ward are scarier than Facebook stalkers.
2. Dark hair colors stains... for about two days.
3. When your boyfriend's 4 year old brother comes and talks to you about girls in his preschool class.
4. Making waffles at ten o clock at night.
5. Ridding with pure swag in Jess's new cherry red Tiburon to church.
6. Having a mini heart attack when leaning back on a chair and someone starts to tip you.
7. It should be illegal to start your period on weekend.
8. Weekend drives to the Wal-Mart, and buy nothing.
9. Instagram photos that look like they could be on Tumblr. Awesome.

Finnick has been cast.
I'm in love.
I mainly love how they don't pick actors like Taylor Lautner or Zac Efron to play the part of such a special role in Catching Fire.
I can already tell this movie is going to be better than Hunger Games.
Finnick & Annie are sooooooooooo precious.

Yes you're write.

Occasionally i'll get the urge to write. It's not typical writing is more like random writing. I'm currently reading the book Matched. In this book it has a society that has lost all form of history and writing. No one knows how to write, they just use data pad's that do everything for them by the touch of a finger.
Now this whole world that we live on is now connected to iphones, ipads, or ipods. Everything you can do with a touch of a finger print. Remember the days when we'd have to get out and write down a message on a piece of paper and send it as soon as possible to the person two states away? Remember when faxing and paging were the hottest things around in the 90's? Remember when we'd be glued to magazines instead of Pinterest? When we had box's for computer's instead of paper thin laptops?

I Just remember the joy you'd feel when you opened the mailbox and saw something with your name on it. Now we get that kind of joy with text messages and emails and facebook notifications. Maybe i'm just stuck in my old fashion ways but I still love writing letters and writing in my journal, it gives me a peace of mind. I still write random little stories here and there... and imagine that maybe someday when i'm dead my grandchildren will see what a prized artifact that I wrote in cursive at age 18 in the year 2012. Cursive handwriting is so beautiful and magical that so many people can create. Back in the pioneer days that's all they wrote in. And you either knew how to read it or you were learning how to read it. I recently saw a segment on the news that said elementary schools in Utah are taking out cursive writing from their learning. And already in my head I thought back to that book Matched and saw our society going down hill... I mean we wouldn't have an awesome Declaration Of Independence without the famous John Hancock signature in cursive writing now would we?

I guess what i'm trying to get across is that, writing has basically gone downhill. We write school essays now on the computer. And I want to know whatever happened to typewriters? We should still be using those in college. That would make me want to go to college. We have computers now so I guess that makes up for typewriters. I understand that we live in 2012, but really we don't have to end cursive writing in elementary school? Because that's just dumb. And lets bring back writing letters, rather than writing 'happy birthday' on people's walls and sending pointless text messages.

Snowball ice.. and everything nice..

Friday nights that you waste doing what you did in High School, are simply the best.

We go to Cafe Rio purely just for the Snowball Ice and oversized salads that we can never finish. 

We sat and watched his High School Football team defeat a rivalry school. 

And I enjoyed searching Instagram while he talked for hours with his friends.

I enjoyed our little three week hang out... 

Now i'll be bored... because he's starting a college life in Ephraim. 

Better start looking for employment again. Or finish my college App.

Whichever comes first i'll be happy with it. Preferably the job so i can get a new phone :/

twice.

The reason why i saw this movie twice is because of that jawline and arm muscle.

I was simply amazed with this movie.

I loved it.

I usually don't see movies twice... but this one deserved to be seen twice.

I mean with a face like that, who wouldn't want to watch you again.

We'll just throw this out there while we're here... but Anne Hathaway just isn't a very good actor.

And bugged me throughout the whole movie. In my opinion that was a bad casting job on their part.

Oh well they got everyone else in the movie right. 

I can't wait for it to come out on video.

Awake & The Lake

When you wake up and feel completely and utterly disgusted with yourself, because you failed to wake up and go running, because your uterus decided to surprise you with a kick, your throat aching, nose running, head congested and eyes watering... Yup its a crappy start to a summer week. But a very good guy friend of mine never ceases to make my morning, by sending me a good morning text... To make sure i've slept okay through the night.

He listens to my complains and sob stories I go on and on about... We hang out and go to movies on the weekends... He is endlessly putting me in an amazing mood every time I see him. In a week he'll be living two hours away for about 4 months. The three weeks we've been dating and sharing memories has been the most fun I've had all summer. I don't promise we'll date long... but for now it's nice having someone bring you Jamba Juice when you're sad.

Still unemployed, but enjoying the last summer hot days. Not yet attending college, because i need to save money. Our lovely Sister got engaged over the weekend, her wedding date is September 21st. Let the crazy wedding planning begin. Growing up is tough... but the Lord blesses those who are faithful. Life gets crazy but you have to remember the simplicity in it. The happiness that a little kid get from playing in the sand all day and the smile they give you.

Our latest adventure to Bear Lake Utah. It was beautiful day. And we returned a little red... but it was well worth it.

Winning Gold

The fact that the Olympics is on is one thing... Second thing what girl doesn't want to watch washboard abs fly past her in the swimming pool on her TV screen? So let's get real, there are some pretty attractive men in the Olympics. No doubt if i was a judge in the Olympics i'd just give the Gold to the most attractive man in the place competing. Cause you seriously have to be blind and dumb to think that there are no attractive men in the Olympics. We produced quite a few that are up in the "Dang what planet did you come from?" alley... but hey some other countries have got some hotties as well....  And if the Olympics were based strictly on the best looking male. We'd win all Gold every single time... just wish i could be watching them in person...

Well boys keep up the amazing work. You've been doing an amazing job at representing our country. 

sighhh... i guess i'll go turn the TV back on... :)

Today.

With everything that happened last night in Colorado it's hard to be happy. I love to remember words of the wonderful Ann Frank. She was so beautiful and strong in the most tragic of times. I'm thankful for my family and the wonderful life that I have.

our delayed absence.

We're terribly sorry we've been gone for so long. Summer has been an absolute non stop party! Here was our latest bucket list check off. We went to British Columbia to visit our sister that lives there, while we were there a kind boy named Ryan took us on an airplane ride across the small town of Vanderhoof. It was spectacular! So amazing and beautifully breathtaking! I loved it, minus the motion sickness i got after a few bumpy hits... other than that, it was beyond this world. If you ever get the chance to do it, take it. You won't regret it!

Yay its monday! I Cleaned out the pool going to fill it soon.
and i can't seem to get a good tan yet, but i'm working on it!
Today i cruised around Ogden Utah in a Jeep sitting next to my best friends all sticky hott and sweaty. Yeah it was great! A day full of memories.

We're a little excited.

I am the first and only child in my family of six to go through elementary, jr,high and high school. Up until sixth grade i was home schooled. Shocking? maybe because we seem pretty normal.... We weren't your normal home schooling type people. So i started sixth grade in Utah with nervous butterflies and a hopeful heart. I made lots of friends and kept them throughout Jr. high, i think that's why i liked public schooling so much, i had lots of friends. I enjoyed Jr. High but i was so excited for the high school scene. I loved every minute of my high school career. I will miss seeing everyone everyday but i won't miss the hard study nights and the crappy school lunches. So here's to Public Education..... i will not miss you one bit.
