My go to hair product

Hello there,
Today I'm sharing one of my favorite curly hair products I cannot live without!! It makes us curly hair girls feel a little normal sometimes. I'm the only girl out of the five in my family that got blessed with such curls. Here's how they go. It's like a ringlet party on the bottom. Straight straggly on the
top. No fear I conquer this mess everyday. Welcome to the curly hair girls life. My hair routine.

1.Start out with freshly washed mane. 2.Wait for it to dry halfway.
3.Apply the orange product.(noodle head is found at any Sally's about 8 dollars for this size.)
4. A dab will do ya.
5. Run through locks of hair scrunching it at random moments for extra umph.
6. CAUTION: sleep on damp hair with product overnight.
(Side note: my hair has natural curl)
7. Wake up with crazy curly hair? You did it right!
8. Take a hot tools 1/2" curling iron to the loose strands to make them blend together.

I hope you guys like this product cause I use it almost everyday and everyday I get people asking how do I get my curls? I explain they're half natural I can't control most of my hair to be honest. I tame them with noodle head and add a little heat to make it decent.

Miss (no one really cares) USA

I did watch Miss America last night and i wasn't too thrilled that New York won again... Come on Minnesota rocked that thang! A string instrument is one of the hardest instruments to play. I can attest to that. That is not a walk in the park kind of talent. Although i can't say much cause i didn't see New York's talent. Whatever, i'm over it. But in all reality everyone just watches the pageant no one really pays attention to what Miss America does the rest of the year, because no one really cares.  Sad but true. I basically watched it to put off doing History homework. 10 points to me. win.

Tonight i took a break from homework and ventured out to FHE. With an original homegirl, and met some new YSA cool cats. If you didn't know that my YSA ward got conjoined with another one neighboring my small hometown, that's why i don't know everyone in it still. We did a scavenger hunt. Right? The classic mormon single adult activity to do? I can't count how many of those i've done. It was pretty fun.

What I learned from tonight:
1. Don't try and be friends with everyone at once.
2. Don't go to activities to impress guys. Go for yourself and spiritual well being.
3. Go to activities more often. (this is tough i used to be the anti-activity goer. But ever since a boy got on my case for not going... I make it an effort to go to everything)
4. Smile & be friendly. Kindness goes far rudeness makes you stuck.
5. Always always always be nicer to those people you have a hard time getting along with.

With love,
Mariah

Six hours turned into eight hours

Traveling with a baby can make your trip two hours longer just like that! I went to Colorado this weekend with my parents and sister and her three month old baby! It was a whirlwind. Between being stuck in the car and pouring cement in 90 degree weather. I thought my dad was going to go into shock! It's a good thing none of us passed out. Cause we were pretty close to. It was a fabulous trip! We had a good time having little niece bonding time! And they just adored Oakley! Cousin love! Can't wait till I have kids so they can play with them! Hope everyone had a great weekend!

My Cat Rant

Okay ever since i was little i've loved cats, kittens, kitties. All of them. I gush over them. They're my favorite. I honestly have a board dedicated to them. And now i introduce you to my little kitty. And yes her name is kitty. Very original right?

The other day my mom and i saw this video of cats that someone put on facebook. We couldn't stop laughing because it was so true.  A few that we thought were relevant to every cat owner are listed below. And they are as if the cat were saying them.
1. "I know i have water in my bowl but i want some fresh water."
2. " I know my food bowl is halfway full but i want some more."
3. " I only want to be scratched twice on my stomach then i'll bite you."
4. "I want you to hold open the door for me until i decide when i want to go out."

And after i wrote this. I realized how big of a nerd i am about my cat.
oh boy.
