it's not like that. . .

Isn't it lovely how people hear things without your knowledge of knowing it? mistake #1 asking a boy i work with to the school dance.  Mostly everyone whispering around me that I like him. Some of them actually brave enough to ask and confront me about it. I cleared the air with the gossip queen of the world at work that we are clearly JUST FRIENDS. I told it simply and how it was, we are just friends everyone thinks we like each other or we are dating, because we always do bagger chores together and we always get carts together. Well you see, it's not like that, it's more of a best friend basis. We're like BFF, but boy and girl instead of girl & girl. We have a lot in common and we like to hang out and such. We're really good friends and that is probably what we will only ever be. It's as simple as that. Sure we hang out when we don't have to work, but other than that we like doing stuff at work together because we like to waste time talking to each other. We enjoy each other's company, is that such a crime? And if it so be that this weekend we go to the dance and have a spectacular time together and we fall in love, (which isn't likely) then it is what it is. But if nothing happens and we just have a good time as friends would at a dance together then so be it. I'll be fine with whatever. If we go back to our same normal routines and back to our normal lives after and just see each other at work from now on, then i'll be fine with it. And i'm sure he will to.  So the next time someone at your work, school, or next social hour comes up to you and asks if two people are dating, please respond "I don't know, maybe you should ask them." Because honestly its better to go to the root of the problem rather than scrapping off the top of the problem. It's maybe its none of your business what is going on in other people's lives.
but seriously, don't just assume things, because you all know what that does. (:

Now that the air is sort of cleared up. I would like to announce that i own the Mumford & Sons album Sigh No More. I love it. I harmonize to it all the time. welcome to my car on the way to and from school!

have a great day (:

plus side

One of my new favorite things about my new schedule this last semester of my senior year is Parent Release! Yup i'm in love. I love coming home and not having to stay at the school for another period. It's rather fabulous! I come home and eat better food than the nasty school food, i come home and sigh. I come home to do homework before a 3-8 shift at work. I come home and sleep sometimes. I come home to catch up on things. I come home and relax...... a lot. Okay thats the plus side. downside to this semester is Med Terminology. Bleh... i'm not to excited but i know it will be worth the college credits or whatever. And i still have the dreaded AP Literature hopefully i'll survive until the end of the year. Wish me luck, as i become a hermit and study the rest of my high school life away.

ohh and i also take pictures....

Have a great Thursday Everyone!

stoked.

I'm beyond excited for Winterball in two saturdays. I asked this fella i work with, he didn't really answer in a creative way, but i'm quite positive he said yes. But anyways, i ordered a dress today..... drumroll please....

Thoughts... feedback... comments? I love it. It's from Shabby Apple. on the website it says its a bit darker than in the picture. I don't care either way. I'm so excited. I had to find a dress that would look good with flats, because lets be honest not every guy is 5'9 and who wants to wear heels to a school dance? not me. I  am absolutely in love with it. I just hope and pray it comes in time of the dance. 6-10 business days... pssh it should be here in time right?! i hope. And it looks like this time i won't be borrowing something from My Sister's Closet :) This is way worth the price... and the priced i payed for it will go unannounced. But price doesn't matter when it's cute... and i'll defiantly wear it again, unlike that dress you wore to your senior homecoming that you didn't wear again.

Any ideas of what kind of jewelry i should wear with it ?

Hair Confidence.

It's plain and simple, your hair is your hair. Like it or not you are blessed with a full lovely lock of hair on your head. It's dreadfully hard to do sometimes, and  from experience sometimes you just want to shave it  all off. But i'm here to save your precious hairs!! Don't do anything that you'll regret later. We've all had bad haircuts and bad hair days, but my latest attitude has helped me a lot.

The High School Hair:
There are three types of hair styles in high school. If you're still in high school then you'll get this... if not... try to imagine. First there are girls in high school that cannot have a hair out of place when they go to school. They use hairspray until they are intoxicated. No joke. It literally drives me insane. (Disclaimer: I'm in no position to judge if you are one of these ladies, I pray you're not, but you be the judge of that) They always have perfect hair and they almost never do anything different with their hair, it's always the same. Second there are those girls that simply cannot help themselves and hopelessly just come to school with their hair wet. awesome. Third there are the girls that try to do every hair style off of pinterest and tumblr. and sometimes pull it off. (yup that's me)

Awkward stage hair:
It's the stage we all hate, the one we all dread, and where we go wrong most of the time at this stage. When you're at your awkward stage in your hair my advice would be DO NOT CUT IT! If you're striving for long hair this is where your patience is put to the test. It keeps you on edge, and always thinking of what you want your hair to be like. In the long run you'll be thankful you didn't cut your hair.

Keeping your hair fresh:
When growing your hair long you must get trims. It won't be healthy when its long unless you don't trim it while you're getting there. I suggest getting your hairs trimmed every two months. Unless your hair grows super fast, then do it at least once a month. Keeping your hair fresh also means keeping it healthy. I suggest you switch off between two different brands of shampoo and conditioner every day or every other day. And it's always nice to do a deep condition every week if possible. And as if possible to make your hair less brittle and dry especially in the winter, try only washing your hair every other day. It makes your hair feel so much nicer.

Work It Girl!
No matter what stage your hair is at, no matter if you are crying because it's falling out, or if it turned green after a color job gone wrong, you have to love the hair you have. I've been seriously so blessed, and I love my hair. I seriously am thankful for my hair, it was awesome. I have natural curl in my hair and I LOVE IT. Natural curl is the best thing in the world. I honestly feel bad for girls that have natural dead bone straight hair. It's truly the best to have natural curl in your hair. I can be so versatile with my hair. I can be naturally wavy/curly, or I can be barrel curly and I can be straight whenever I want. I've learned to just love everything about your hair. Here's my challenge, please try and make the next bad hair day you have the best hair day ever. No one notices your bad hair days and neither should you. I beg you just to go with it and be your natural self. If you're too scared of doing something crazy and out  there because you're worried of what others will think, then I'm here to tell you stop caring about what others think and do what YOU want! Work your hair girl, it was given to you for a reason, stop being shy and hiding behind it, you need to be bold with those locks of hair you have.

Please please please only do this stuff on your will. I'm just giving good advice and random rants on hair. I just thought it'd be nice because I too needed a hair boost today. Its just a great day to have hair!

And if you're dreaming of your hair to be one of these lengths and looking like one of these
pictures one day... (Like Me & Jess)
Well, keep on dreaming and don't cut it.... it'll get there.
give it time.
Temples weren't built in a day.
